Wolfsburg to acquire Brazilian left-back, Romano reports
Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that Brazilian left-back Rogério Oliveira da Silva is on the verge of joining Germany's green company team.
Now that a potential move of German left-back Robin Gosens to his native country has fallen through for the umpteenth time, Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that VfL Wolfsburg will fill their need at the position with another Serie A player. Interestingly enough, the German Autostädter look set to fill the void left by Paulo Otavio with another Brazilian.
Romano claims that US Sassuolo Calcio fullback "Rogério" Oliveira da Silva will join Wolfsburg on a permanent transfer within the next 24 hours. The 25-year-old has made 148 appearances for his current Italian outfit on a €7 million transfer from Juventus in the summer of 2019. Romano offers no information as to a potential transfer fee at this time.
