Germany's Kicker Magazine reports that Augsburg are poised to move Malone to Austria permanently. Austrian Bundesliga runners-up SK Sturm Graz have emerged as suitors for the 22-year-old. Kicker writes that negotiations for a sale are in the "final stages". The footballing journal also has news on the future of seldom-used Portuguese loanee Renato Veiga.
Veiga arrived in the Swabian section of Bavaria on an extended 18-month-long-loan this past January. The deadline-day acquisition nevertheless failed to impress FCA trainer Enrico Maaßen in his 13 league appearances during the 2022/23 Bundesliga Rück-runde. Kicker writes that Augsburg and parent club Sporting CP are making arrangements to cancel the loan early.
Veiga presently trains with the U23s while the details are sorted out.
