Official: Bayern München land U.S. youth international

U.S. youth international Taylor Booth has made the move to Bayern München from Real Salt Lake.
Bayern München have announced the signing of 17-year-old Taylor Booth who joins the German champions from Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake.

Booth - an attacking midfielder who plays for the U.S. under-19 national team - will join Bayern München's under-19 team after taking part in the under-23 winter training camp in Dallas, Texas.

"We see a lot of potential in Taylor. He is a talented young player, and we look forward to working with him to develop his talent further," FC Bayern Campus Manager Jochen Sauer said, as quoted by the club.

Booth himself said:

"I'm very happy with this next step in my career. FC Bayern is one of the largest clubs in the world. Being here in Munich at the FC Bayern campus and taking the next steps in my development makes me very proud."

The 17-year-old is the third player to complete a move to Bayern from the American Major League Soccer this month, following in the footsteps of Alphonso Davies (Vancouver Whitecaps) and Chris Richards (FC Dallas).
