Terzic gives positive injury update on Kobel before cup action
Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic has given positive news on Gregor Kobel ahead of Wednesday's DFB-Pokal clash with Hoffenheim.
Despite being forced off with a head injury in Borussia Dortmund's 3-3 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, Gregor Kobel should be available for Wednesday's DFB-Pokal match against Hoffenheim.
At his pre-match press conference, BVB coach Edin Terzic revealed that the goalkeeper should be able to train normally on Tuesday.
"Gregor bruised his nasal bone in Frankfurt. We expect him to be able to train today without a mask and splint," Terzic told reporters.
In general, things are looking good on the injury front for the Black and Yellows.
"Mats [Hummels] is doing well. He felt better yesterday. We expect him to be able to train fully today. At the moment, nobody is definitely out for tomorrow," Terzic said.
Nevertheless, Terzic hinted at the possibility of rotating his squad for tomorrow's game.
"Especially in these weeks you should always think about the freshness factor. We have proven that we have a very well-balanced squad and that we can always rely on it."
