FC Nürnberg sack head coach Köllner and sporting director Bornemann
1. FC Nürnberg have parted company with head coach Michael Köllner and sporting director Andreas Bornemann.

1. FC Nürnberg have sacked had coach Michael Köllner and sporting director Andreas Bornemann.
'Der Club' will now look for a new sporting director who will then be responsible for finding a new coach.
In the mean time, assistant coach Boris Schommers will serve as interim coach along with club legend Marek Mintal.
"On behalf of the supervisory board, I'd like to thank Andreas Bornemann and Michael Köllner once again for their successful time together," said Nürnberg chairman Dr. Thomas Grethlein, as quoted by the club.
"Our task now is to find a sporting director with great care who will be reponsible for the sporting sector and whose first task will be to find a suitable coach for 1. FC Nürnberg," he added.
1. FC Nürnberg are rock bottom of the Bundesliga with 12 points after 21 matches.
