Kai Havertz, Bayer Leverkusen, offensive midfielder (19 years old)
The Bayer Leverkusen starlet is widely regarded as the most promising German youngster at the moment. Havertz is the youngest player to ever feature for Leverkusen and has already made 90 appearances for 'Die Werkself' at the age of just 19. The midfielder, who made his senior international debut last year, has been described as an 'Alleskönner' - a player who can do everything - because of his versatility and many qualities.

Alphonso Davies, Bayern München, winger (18 years old)
The Canadian winger joined Bayern München from MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps in January and has already been handed a handful of appearances for the Bavarians as a substitute. Davies, a powerful and fast winger, will probably need some time to adjust to the Bundesliga, but he certainly looks like an interesting prospect with the qualities to go far.

Jadon Sancho, Borussia Dortmund, winger (18 years old)
Sancho has had his professional breakthrough in a Dortmund shirt this season and has only grown in importance as the season has progressed. The former Manchester City winger is fast, unpredictable, technically very good and has shown that he can both score goals and provide assists. The sky's the limit if Sancho continues his impressive development.

Dan-Axel Zagadou, Borussia Dortmund, centre-back (19 years old)
Zagadou has been handed plenty of playing time under Lucien Favre and has looked very impressive this season. The tall Frenchman is athletic, very good in the air, reads the game well and is a solid passer of the ball.

Evan N'Dicka, Eintracht Frankfurt, centre-back (19 years old)
Frankfurt struck a real bargain when they paid €5,5 million to sign N'Dicka from French side Auxerre before this season. The tall centre-back walked directly into the starting eleven of 'Die Adler' and has impressed with his maturity, power, physicality and tough tackling this season.

Ibrahima Konaté, RB Leipzig, centre-back (19 years old)
The young Frenchman has arguably been RB Leipzig's impressive centre-back this season, forming a solid and promising partnership with Dayot Upamecano. Konaté is strong, fast, good with the ball at his feet and a great reader of the game.

Ahmed Kutucu, Schalke 04, striker (18 years old)
After scoring goals for fun for Schalke's under-19 team, the 18-year-old has been tested in the first team lately. Having already scored a handful of goals for Domenico Tedesco's side, Kutucu has certainly taken his chance. It's no coincidence that Bayern München have already been watching the clinical finisher play on numerous occasions this season.

Rabbi Matondo, Schalke 04, winger (18 years old)
Matondo was offered a contract extension by Manchester City following some impressive performances for their reserve team, but the Welsh winger turned down the offer and opted for a move to Schalke 04 instead. The youngster has been described as a clinical, clever and extremely quick winger - apparently, he was faster than any other player at Manchester City.

Ozan Kabak, VfB Stuttgart, centre-back (18 years old)
In Ozan Kabak, Stuttgart signed an extremely talented centre-back from Galatasaray in January, beating the likes of Roma and Watford in the race for his signature. Kabak emerged as a first team regular in Turkey during this season and has walked straight into the line-up of a struggling Stuttgart side after completing his move to Germany. "I'm a fighter on the pitch, and I want to win every game with my team if possible," Kabak told vfb.de when asked to describe himself as a player.

Josh Sargent, Werder Bremen, striker (18 years old)
The young striker was chased by a lot of clubs before agreeing to join Werder in September 2017. After impressing for Werder's reserves, the U.S. international scored in his senior debut in a 3-1 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf in December. Since then, Sargent has often been subbed on by Werder coach Florian Kohfeldt, and based on what he has achieved already, he certainly looks like a player with a bright future.
