Report: Bayern will not sell Javi Martinez in the summer
Javi Martinez will reportedly not leave Bayern München in the summer.
Javi Martinez's future at Allianz Arena has been questioned, but Bayern München have now decided that he will not be sold in the summer, Bild understands.
Apparently, after a meeting between Javi Martinez and the Bayern bosses last week, the parties have agreed to continue their cooperation beyond the summer.
The defensive midfielder's contract runs until 2021. It will most likely be decided towards the end of the 2019/20 season whether the deal will be extended or not.
Despite the 30-year-old's stay, Bayern are currently looking for a player who can reinforce the defensive midfield, according to Bild.
