Who was Bayern boss Salihamidzic watching in the stands for Ajax - Real Madrid?

Bayern München sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic sat in the stands for Ajax's game against Real Madrid on Wednesday. Who was he scouting?
When Ajax lost 1-2 to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, Bayern München sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic was spotted in the stands of the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam.

The reason for Salihamidzic's visit in Amsterdam isn't known, but German media have speculated that he was there to take a look at Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.

Bayern have been linked with the 19-year-old who has previously been described by Salihamizic as a player with 'very good potential'.

It's possible that Bayern will make a summer move for de Ligt, who is likely to cost at least €65 million, as the Bavarians want to rejuvenate their central defence.

However, the promising centre-back is said to have attracted interest from several other clubs as well.

According to Goal.com and Spox, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici was also in the stands yesterday - and it's quite possible that he was looking at the 19-year-old as well.

Matthijs de Ligt has made 97 appearances for Ajax with nine goals and five assists to his name.
