"I’m delighted to have received a call up to the national team. It is a great honor to represent my country."
Lukas Klostermann (as quoted by RB Leipzig):
"I didn't really expect it. Of course I'm very happy about the nomination, and I'm really looking forward to the games and to getting to know the whole team. To be called up for the national team for the first time is a very special thing and a great honor."
Niklas Stark (as quoted by Hertha BSC):
"Every footballer dreams of being able to play for their country. It was very special to become European champions at U21 and U19 level but to be nominated for the first team squad is a fantastic accolade and a big step for me. It gives me the motivation to give it everything I have - week-in, week-out."
