Since Hoffenheim hired Julian Nagelsmann as coach in February 2016, he has made the club a fortune. According to Bild, Hoffenheim have earned a whopping €266 million under 30-year-old Nagelsmann with the income consisting of TV money and money from transfers.

Hoffenheim could have been relegated in the 2015/16, but Nagelsmann took over and managed to keep the club in the Bundesliga. If Hoffenheim had gone down, the club would have been awarded €11 million euros in TV money, but 'Die Kraichgauer' received €32 million for being in the Bundesliga.

In the 2016/17 season, Nagelsmann led the club to a fourth place in the Bundesliga which secured the club nearly €55 million. And on top of that, Hoffenheim's achievements in Europe brought in €20 million.

In the past season, Hoffenheim ended in the third place which earned the club €60 million in TV money. And with Hoffenheim's participation at the group stages of the Champions League, 'Die Kraichgauer' are already secured at least €16 million in addition to that.

Now, what's even more impressive is that Nagelsmann has brought the club forward despite selling some of his best players such as Kevin Volland (Leverkusen), Niklas Süle (Bayern) and Sandro Wagner (Bayern).

In total, Hoffenheim's transfers under Nagelsmann have earned the club around €83 million. Nagelsmann has spent around €53 million on new players so if you hold those two numbers together, Hoffenheim have made €30 million in the transfer department.

Real Madrid recently showed an interest in Julian Nagelsmann, who has a contract until 2021, but according to Bild the Hoffenheim coach turned down the offer straight away. So for now, Nagelsmann stays - and the club should be very happy about that.
