Report: Eggestein wants an exit clause in his new Werder deal

Maximilian Eggestein, who has been linked with Borussia Dortmund, is said to be keen on signing a new deal with Werder Bremen - as long as it includes an exit clause.
Werder Bremen star Maximilian Eggestein is keen on extending his contract, which runs until 2020, Sport Bild understands.

However, apparently, the 22-year-old wants an exit clause inserted in his new contract, and the parties are currently negotiating about the size of the clause.

Borussia Dortmund have been linked with Eggestein who was recently called up to the national team for the first time. Sport Bild estimates that the fact that the midfielder is now a German international means that he would cost at least €20 million.

Eggestein has been among the most prolific players at Werder Bremen this season, scoring six goals and making five assists in 29 appearances.
