Jonas Hofmann reveals he's close to signing a new deal with Gladbach
Jonas Hofmann says he's close to agreeing a contract extension with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Borussia Mönchengladbach's Jonas Hofmann has revealed that he expects to put pen to paper on a new deal with 'Die Fohlen' soon.
The midfielder explains he has recently had fruitful talks with the club about extending his current deal which runs until 2020.
"There are only a few small things left to clarify. We've had two or three good talks lately. We've moved towards each other, and I think there will be a decision in the next two weeks," Hofmann told Bild.
Hofmann, who joined Gladbach from Borussia Dortmund in an €8 million deal in 2016, has made 22 appearances this season with six goals and seven assists to his name.
