Andreas Beck considers leaving Stuttgart: 'There have already been inquiries'

Andreas Beck admits he's thinking about leaving VfB Stuttgart in the summer.
Andreas Beck says he's considering leaving VfB Stuttgart when his contract runs out in the summer and reveals there have been inquiries.

At the moment, however, the 32-year-old is focusing on his childhood club's struggle for Bundesliga survival.

"This is my club, and I learned to play football and everything I need here. At the same time, I can imagine taking another step, possibly abroad," Beck told Kicker and added:

"There have already been inquiries - but for the time being, all that has been put in hold. It's all about staying in the league with VfB."

Beck came through the youth ranks at Stuttgart and made his debut for the Swabian club in 2016. He joined Hoffenheim in 2008 and stayed there until he went to Turkey to play for Besiktas in 2015. In 2017, the right-back re-joined Stuttgart.

The 32-year-old has played 19 games and made two assists for Stuttgart this season.
