Both Bild and Kicker report that Hertha have started looking for a new head coach with Dardai likely to be replaced this summer. Bild even claims that the 43-year-old is in danger of losing his job before the end of the season.
Hertha have slipped to 11th place after losing five Bundesliga games in a row. After Sunday's 0-2 defeat to Hoffenheim, Dardai said he accepts responsibility for his team's poor form.
"I have said it a hundred times already. If I stand in the way of the further development of the club, they have to say it to me," Dardai told reporters.
Dardai, 43, spent most of his footballing career at Hertha and played a total of 373 games for the club.
