Bundesliga team of the week – Matchday 29 (3-4-3):

Goalkeeper: Alexander Nübel, Schalke 04 (2)
'Except Nübel, you can all go,' angry Schalke fans chanted during Friday's 1-1 draw with Nürnberg as a reaction to a poor performance from their team. The young keeper made a huge difference for 'The Royal Blues' as he kept out a penalty and made a string of great saves.

Centre-back: Jonathan Tah, Bayer Leverkusen
The German international played a key role and showed tremendous strength in the box as Leverkusen held on to a clean sheet against VfB Stuttgart.

Centre-back: Benjamin Hübner, Hoffenheim (2)
Rock solid in Hoffenheim's 2-0 win over Hertha BSC. Won 16 out of 22 duels and his pass rate was over 90 percent.

Centre-back: Nico Elvedi, Gladbach (3)
Put in a strong performance as Gladbach held on to a clean sheet against Hannover. Won 80 percent of his duels and had a pass rate of 90 percent.

Right midfielder: Jadon Sancho, Borussia Dortmund (5)
Made all the difference for Borussia Dortmund as he scored a brace in their 2-1 win over Mainz.

Central midfielder: Kevin Kampl, RB Lepzig
Pulled the strings in midfield and scored a great goal to lead RB Leipzig to a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg.

Central midfielder: Davy Klaassen, Werder Bremen
Once again proved to be decisive for Werder. Had an attempt saved on the line, but later scored for the third game in a row to help his side to a 2-1 win over Freiburg.

Left midfielder: Marco Richter, FC Augsburg
Netted twice against Eintracht Frankfurt to help Augsburg to a surprising 3-1 win away from home.

Right winger: Serge Gnabry, Bayern München (3)
Continued his great form against Fortuna Düsseldorf as he scored and made an assist in Bayern's 4-1 win.

Striker: Timo Werner, RB Leipzig (6)
The German international is starting to look like his former self after a dry spell. Scored once in RB Leipzig's 2-0 win over Wolfsburg, but could have got on the scoresheet more times with a little more luck.

Left winger: Kingsley Coman, Bayern München (2)
The French winger scored twice and was arguably the best player on the pitch in Bayern München's 4-1 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf.
