Report: Manchester United have inquired about Niklas Süle

Manchester United have reportedly asked about Bayern München's Niklas Süle.
Bayern München's Niklas Süle has attracted interest from Manchester United, Sport1 understands.

According to the German news outlet, 'The Red Devils' have inquired about the central defender.

However, Bayern are unlikely to let Süle go as he's seen as an important part of the squad in the future.

Süle, whose contract until 2022 doesn't contain an exit clause, is understood to be one of the lowest earners at Bayern.

According to Sport1, discussions over a potential contract extension are yet to take place, but with the 23-year-old apparently attracting interest from abroad, they are likely to consider opening talks with Süle over a new deal soon.

Back in 2017, Süle rejected an offer from Chelsea to join Bayern from Hoffenheim.

He has made 36 appearances for Bayern this season.
