Milot Rashica has come a long way since he joined Werder Bremen from Dutch side Vitesse for €7 million in January 2018.

After he was given some time to adjust, the 22-year-old has been among Werder's most remarkable players this season, having scored 10 goals in 25 appearances so far.

Initially, Rashica "just didn't know that he had to defend as well", Werder Bremen coach Florian Kohfeldt has told Kicker.

But although the winger has developed greatly, there's still room for improvement, according to his agent, Altin Lala.

"I often tell Milot that he can be even better at doing the little, simple things. Things that have nothing to do with talent that even I managed to do," the former Hannover 96 player said in an interview with Kicker.

"That a club like Bremen with a coach like Florian Kohfeldt wanted Milot and put so much patience and confidence in him was very important for the boy's development," he said.

Rashica, 22, is under contract until 2022.
