"'Charly' is under contract until 2020, and we want to keep him. Therefore, he doesn't currently have a price tag," Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes told Kicker.
However, the Chilean midfielder hasn't been willing to open talks over a new deal until now, because he's tending towards a move back to South America for family reasons, as per Kicker.
Therefore, Leverkusen may be forced to let Aranguiz go in the summer in order to cash in on him.
Aranguiz has made 25 appearances for Leverkusen this season with two goals and four assists to his name.
