Yussuf Poulsen wants Timo Werner to stay at RB Leipzig
Yussuf Poulsen says he hopes Timo Werner will stay at RB Leipzig amid interest from the likes of Bayern München and Liverpool.
RB Leipzig star Timo Werner is under contract until 2020 and has stalled on a new deal as he considers his options.
Werner has been linked with the likes of Bayern München and Liverpool, but the German international's striking partner, Yussuf Poulsen, is hopeful that they can keep playing together beyond this season.
"Timo and I have a great partnership, and of course I want him to stay here. But it's his decision and his career. He has to find out if it's the right time for a transfer," Poulsen told Kicker.
The RB Leipzig bosses have stressed that Werner will be sold this summer if he doesn't sign a new contract.
