VfL Wolfsburg have announced the signing of Brazilian winger Joao Victor from Austrian side LASK Linz.

The 25-year-old has signed a contract until 2023 and will move to Germany along with his current coach, Oliver Glasner, who will take over the position as Wolfsburg coach at the end of the season.

"He's a player who has tremendous speed and who's also distinguished by his ability to score goals. He will further strengthen the team in the offensive area and has also left a very positive impression in the personal conversations," said Wolfsburg sporting director Michael Schäfer, as quoted by the club.

Joao Victor is Wolfsburg's summer signing. 'Die Wölfe' have previously announced that Kevin Mbabu will make the move to Volkswagen Arena from Young Boys.
