The 26-year-old joined Frankfurt on loan from Augsburg in January, and after quickly emerging as a pivotal player for 'Die Adler', he has no plans of leaving Commerzbank-Arena.
"At this point, I don't believe that this was my last home game," Hinteregger told Sky after Frankfurt's 0-2 loss to Mainz on Sunday.
"I can't say goodbye like that. Eintracht and Hinteregger fit very well together," he added.
Frankurt sporting director Bruno Hübner has previously made it clear that he would like to keep Hinteregger.
The centre-back left Augsburg on loan after he was suspended for openly criticizing Manuel Baum who was the club's coach at the time. Baum was sacked in April and replaced by Martin Schmidt.
