Manuel Neuer and James Rodriguez will not be able to feature in Bayern München's vital last Bundesliga game of the season against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.

Speaking at a press conference today, Bayern coach Niko Kovac said that the duo won't recover from their injuries in time for Saturday.

"Manuel Neuer made good progress today. He's on the road to recovery, but he won't play on the weekend. James Rodriguez is also still out," Kovac said, as quoted by the club.

"Javi Martinez will train again tomorrow. Kimmich had a reduced workload today, but everything is fine. Thiago is doing well too and already took part in some of yesterday's session," he added.

A draw on Saturday should be enough for Bayern to clinch the Bundesliga title for the seventh year in a row - and Kovac is eager to finish the job.

"In winter, we were still hopeful of winning the league. Now it's in our hands and we intend on taking our chance. We can't wait for the game," he said.

Kovac and Bayern are two points clear of Borussia Dortmund and have a much better goal difference than their title rivals who will face Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday.
