Hazard has said that he has reached a personal agreement with BVB, and Eberl now reveals the two clubs have come a long way in their negotiations over a transfer fee.
"I'll be very surprised if it doesn't work out. We are in talks with BVB, and we have already come very far. But we aren't finished yet," Eberl told reporters.
According to reports, Dortmund are willing to offer €30 million for Hazard, but he has been priced at €40 million by Gladbach.
The 26-year-old, who's under contract until 2020, has scored 13 goals and made 12 assists in 34 games for Gladbach this season.
