Didavi will definitely stay at Stuttgart in case of relegation

Daniel Didavi intends to stay at VfB Stuttgart even if they end up getting relegated.
VfB Stuttgart and Union Berlin are set to fight for a spot in next years Bundesliga when they lock horns in two upcoming play-off games.

Daniel Didavi is obviously fired up to give everything to stay in the Bundesliga, but should Stuttgart end up losing over the two games, he wants to continue playing for the Swabian club in the 2. Bundesliga.

"I'll definitely stay in any case. By 100 percent. That's clear from my side," Didavi told Kicker.

"The opponent will do anything to beat us and take the fight out of us. With heart, passion, a readyness to perform and run, fight and hardness. We must not let that happen. In these areas in particular, we have to be at the same level as Union. Then our footballing quality can make the difference," he said about the upcoming games against Union Berlin.

Stuttgart and Union Berlin will clash in the first play-off game at Mercedes-Benz Arena tonight while the second leg will take place at Stadion An der Alten Försterei on Monday.

Didavi, 29, came through the youth ranks at Stuttgart and played there for several years before joining VfL Wolfsburg in 2016. He returned last summer.
