Hamburger SV part company with sporting director Ralf Becker

Hamburger SV have parted company with sporting director Ralf Becker who will be replaced by Jonas Boldt.
Ralf Becker has been relieved of his duties as Hamburger SV sporting director with immediate effect, the club have announced.

Former Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Jonas Boldt will take over the position and will be presented at a press conference today.

Hamburger SV recently sacked Hannes Wolf as head coach after the club missed out on promotion to the Bundesliga.

'Die Rothosen' are yet to announce who will be his successor, but Kicker claims that prior to his own sacking, Becker had reached an agreement with the outgoing Gladbach coach Dieter Hecking about taking over the job.

Becker began his work as HSV's sporting director in May 2018.
