Bayern München president Uli Hoeness has made it clear that Niko Kovac will stay as coach next season.

Kovac's job security has been questioned during the 2018/19 season, but in the wake of Bayern's Bundesliga title win and DFB-Pokal final victory, Hoeness says the 47-year-old will definitely stay.

"There's no question that our coach next season will be Niko Kovac," Hoeness told Sky and added:

"It's not possible for a team to play so well if things aren't working with the coach."

Kovac joined Bayern München from Eintracht Frankfurt ahead of the 2018/19 season.
