Report: Schalke drop interest in Dodi Lukebakio
Dodi Lukebakio won't join Schalke 04, according to Kicker.
Schalke 04 have cooled their interest in Dodi Lukebakio, because he's too expensive, Kicker reports.
'The Royal Blues' have been linked with the Watford player who spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf with great success.
But Watford want around €20 million for the 21-year-old, and that's way more than Schalke would be ready to pay for him, as per the report.
According to Kicker, a loan deal is out of the question as well due to Lukebakio's wage demands of around €5 million a year.
Lukebakio scored 14 goals in 34 appearances for Fortuna Düsseldorf in the 2018/19 season.
