Kasper Dolberg made his breakthrough at the highest level for Ajax in the 2016/17 season, scoring 23 goals in 48 appearances under Peter Bosz.
Now, Bosz is interested in bringing the young striker to Bayer Leverkusen, Danish news outlet B.T. understands.
But although Dolberg doesn't rule anything out, he makes it clear that he would prefer to stay at Ajax for now.
"It's an option, but I don't think it's going to happen," the Danish international told B.T. and added:
"I feel fine in the Netherlands. It's a fantastic and huge club with a lot of fans. We have a lot of great players right now, and I'd like to play with them. So if I can play a good season at Ajax, that's definitely what I'd like the most."
Asked about his relationship with Bosz, Dolberg said:
"I'd say we had a good relationship. He understood me and knew how to motivate me. He gave me a lot of freedom even though I was new in the first team at the time, because he believed in me. That meant I could focus on scoring goals, and that was what was most important to me. He's just a great coach who's good at talking to his players. He gave me a lot of confidence."
Dolberg scored 12 goals in 39 appearances for Ajax during the 2018/19 season.
