Report: Four players on Leverkusen's shortlist

'Die Werkself' have identified four transfer targets as they look for offensive reinforcements ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Bayer Leverkusen have four players on their list of transfer targets ahead of the 2019/20 season, Sport Bild understands.

Leverkusen have already brought in Kerem Demirbay from Hoffenheim for €32 million – a record-breaking transfer fee for the 'Die Werkself' – but still have plenty of money available for transfers after their €25 million sale of Julian Brandt to Borussia Dortmund.

In their search for a new offensive midfielder, Leverkusen have identified Dani Zagreb's Dani Olmo as a transfer target. The 21-year-old, who has been described as a 'great talent' by Leverkusen boss Rudi Völler, has been priced at around €25 million. Hoffenheim's Nadiem Amiri, who would cost around €17 million, is another option.

Additionally, Leverkusen are looking for a new striker. Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic and Watford's Dodi Lukebakio, who spent last season on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf, are among the candidates. They would cost around €20 million each, as per Sport Bild.
