Gladbach linked with French striker
Borussia Mönchengladbach are said to be interested in Marcus Thuram from EA Guingamp.
Borussia Mönchengladbach are reportedly considering making a swoop for EA Guingamp starlet Marcus Thuram as they look to sign a new striker ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Sport Bild reports that the new Gladbach coach, Marco Rose, wants to line up in a 4-4-2 formation, and he wants to add more firepower up top. With Josip Drmic set to depart the club on a free transfer, Alassane Pléa will be the only real forward in the squad as things look now.
According to the report, Marcus Thuram, the son of former French international Lillian Thuram, is among the candidates identified by 'Die Fohlen'.
The 21-year-old, who scored 13 goals in 38 appearances in the 2018/19 season, should cost around €8 million.
Gladbach have also been linked with Fredrik Gullbrandsen (Red Bull Salzburg), Lukas Nmecha (Manchester City) and Maximilian Philipp (Borussia Dortmund).
