Wolfsburg target Xaver Schlager says he can imagine a move to Germany

Red Bull Salzburg's Xaver Schlager admits he's tempted by a move to the German Bundesliga.
According to both Kicker and Sportbuzzer, Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Xaver Schlager has decided he wants to join VfL Wolfsburg this summer.

When asked about Wolfsburg's reported interest in him, Schlager didn't want to confirm that he's set for a move to Volkswagen Arena, but admitted that he's tempted by playing in the German Bundesliga.

"I can imagine playing for every club in the German Bundesliga. It's a better league, a great environment, no matter which club it's about. If you have the chance to go abroad, you always have to think about it," he told Austrian news agency APA.

Schlager, 21, is currently representing Austria at the Under-21 European Championship in Italy and San Marino.
