Report: Renato Sanches wants to leave Bayern

Renato Sanches looks likely to leave Bayern München this summer.
Renato Sanches is determined to leave Bayern München for good this summer, according to Bild.

Before Bayern München's last game of the season, a friendly against SpVgg Lindau on May 29, Sanches reportedly shouted: 'Thank god, 45 more minutes of FC Bayern, then vacation and then never, never again!'

The 21-year-old complained about a lack of playing time numerous times during the 2018/19 season.

"I want to play more. At the moment, I don't know how it will continue. I don't know if it makes sense to try again in Munich. I played too little, I'm disappointed about that," he told Sport Bild at the beginning of the month.

Sanches, who spent the 2017/18 season on loan at Swansea, isn't interested in another loan deal, as per the report, which claims he would welcome a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Apparently, the French champions tried to sign the central midfielder in January, but Bayern coach Niko Kovac didn't want to let him leave at the time.

The situation is different now, though, and it seems likely that Sanches will be on the move this summer.

Bayern paid €35 million to sign Sanches from Benfica in 2016. His contract runs until 2021.
