Spain beat Germany to clinch Euro Under-21 title

Germany U21's hopes of a title defense were crushed by Spain.
Germany missed out on the opportunity to win the UEFA European Under-21 Championship for the second time in a row as they suffered a 1-2 loss to Spain in the final tonight.

Stefan Kuntz's troops beat Spain in the final in 2017, but it was the other way this time around.

Fabian Ruiz gave Spain an early lead with a shot from the edge of the area, and when Dani Olmo made it 2-0 from the rebound follwing a mistake from Alex Nübel after 69 minutes, things looked even more bleak for the Germans.

Nadiem Amiri pulled one back for Germany towards the end, but ultimately, it wasn't enough to keep Spain from taking revenge for their final defeat in 2017.
