Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over the transfer of Abdou Diallo, who will make the move to the French capital with immediate effect, the club have announced.
"We're well-stocked in defence, both in terms of the number of players and their quality. Abdou really wanted to accept the offer from his homeland, and for us it's a highly lucrative one," said BVB sporting director Michael Zorc, as quoted by the club.
"We'd like to thank Abdou for his efforts at Borussia Dortmund and wish him all the best in terms of health and success at his new club," he added.
According to reports, PSG have paid €32 million to sign Diallo, with the fee set to increase by another €2 million if the centre-back reaches a certain number of games at his new club.
Diallo made 38 appearances for BVB after joining the club from Mainz last summer.
