Apparently, Niko Kovac saw his transfer suggestions shot down by the Bayern bosses – just like last summer.

When Bayern München coach Niko Kovac met with the club bosses to discuss potential transfer targets ahead of the 2019/20 season, he brought a list of suggestions with him.
According to Sport Bild, Kovac brought up the names of his Croatian compatriots Mario Mandzukic (Juventus) and Ivan Peric (Inter) as well as Denis Zakaria and Florian Neuhaus from Gladbach.
However, just like last year, when Kovac reportedly suggested Luka Jovic, Ante Rebic and Kevin Vogt, he was told that the Bayern bosses had different ideas on how to proceed.
The Bavarians have recently been linked with Manchester City's Leroy Sané and Espanyol's Marc Roca in particular.
