Sebastien Haller joins West Ham from Frankfurt

Sebastien Haller has left Eintracht Frankfurt to join West Ham.

West Ham have officially announced the signing of Sebastien Haller who joins the Premier League club from Eintracht Frankfurt for a club-record fee.

The 25-year-old has signed a five-year deal and makes the move to London for an undisclosed fee understood to be around €50 million.

"I feel really great. I think it’s a really good opportunity for me to be here," Haller said after his move and added:

"It means a lot (to be the record signing). It proves that the club [has] really wanted me for a long time. I felt this desire to sign me and I’m really happy to sign, also. it is an ambitious club, a nice club, a nice city and nice fans too."

Haller scored 33 goals in 77 appearances in the Frankfurt shirt.
