Bayern München have stepped up their interest in Leroy Sané by submitting an offer to the 23-year-old as well as his employer, Manchester City, according to Bild.
Bild doesn't mention any concrete figures, but the Bavarians will most likely have to break the €100 million mark to sign the 23-year-old whose contract runs until 2021.
Bayern coach Niko Kovac recently said he was 'confident' about bringing Sané to Munich, but he had to apologize after his statement was criticized by club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Meanwhile, Transfermarkt.de claimed on Wednesday evening that Bayern have reached an agreement to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey. However, both Bild, TZ and Bayern coach Niko Kovac were quick to shoot down the report.
"That's not true, not verified, but wrong," Kovac said after Bayern's Audi Cup final penalty shootout loss to Tottenham on Wednesday evening.
