Fortuna Düsseldorf deny deal with Leon Bailey's half-brother
Kyle Butler, the half-brother of Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey, claimed on social media that he had signed a deal with Fortuna Düsseldorf. But that's not true according to the club.
Yesterday, Kyle Butler, who is the half-brother of Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey, posted a picture with a signed contract on Twitter as well as Instagram and announced he had signed a deal with newly promoted Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf.
"Happy to put ink to paper," Butler's tweet said.
However, Fortuna Düsseldorf deny that a deal has been signed, and Butler has since decided to remove his post.
"No idea what Kyle Butler is signing there, but it is definitely not a contract between him and Fortuna Düsseldorf!," Fortuna Düsseldorf tweeted.
The 20-year-old's last club is St. Andrews from Malta.
