Bayer 04 Leverkusen keeper Lukas Hradecky says there's still plenty of room for improvement ahead of the new season.
Speaking in the wake of Leverkusen's 1-2 defeat to Valencia in a test match on Sunday, the Finnish keeper told Kicker:
"During our entire pre-season, we have allowed our opponents too much space and conceded too many goals."
"Our way of playing doesn't work completely as we want it to. We need more security at the back when we apply pressure.
"There's still a lot to do. I just hope that we will be performing at a certain level when it all starts," Hradecky said.
Hradecky and Leverkusen finished fourth in the Bundesliga last season.
