Barcelona confirm Bayern interest in Coutinho
Bayern München are looking into the possibility of signing Philippe Coutinho.
FC Barcelona have confirmed that Bayern München are showing an interest in bringing Philippe Coutinho to Germany.
"There is interest from FC Bayern, but there is no agreement yet. That's all there is to say at the moment," a club spokesman told Goal and Spox.
Barcelona should be willing to let Coutinho go this summer and are understood to want around €86 million for the offensive midfielder.
According to Sky Sports, Bayern are hoping to land Coutinho on a two-year loan deal, but the 27-year-old, who has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, doesn't prefer a move to Germany.
