The Manchester City loanee looked very impressive in his Bundesliga debut, making a ton of saves in Fortuna Düsseldorf's surprising 3-1 win over Werder Bremen away from home.

Right-back: Jonathan Schmid, SC Freiburg
Jonathan Schmid marked his return to Freiburg with a great performance at right-back, scoring with a nice shot from distance in his team's 3-0 win over Mainz.

Centre-back: Lukas Klünter, Hertha BSC
After a strong pre-season, Klünter was given the chance in Hertha's line-up against Bayern München - and he didn't disappoint. Looked very calm and made numerous important tackles and blocks.

Centre-back: Martin Hinteregger, Eintracht Frankfurt
Needed less than a minute to score the winner against Hoffenheim and played a key role in defence as 'Die Adler' kept a clean sheet.

Left-back: Marcel Halstenberg, RB Leipzig
Halstenberg thrived in Julian Nagelsmann's 3-4-3 system, scoring and setting up a goal as 'Die Roten Bullen' beat Union Berlin 4-0.

Central midfielder: Axel Witsel, Borussia Dortmund
Pulled the strings in midfield for Borussia Dortmund in their 5-1 thrashing of Augsburg in which he made an assist.

Right midfielder: Marcel Sabitzer, RB Leipzig
Sabitzer was involved in all of RB Leipzig's four goals against Union Berlin, netting once and setting up three goals.

Offensive midfielder: Kenan Karaman, Fortuna Düsseldorf
Scored and made an assist in Fortuna Düsseldorf's impressive 3-1 win over Werder.

Left midfielder: Filip Kostic, Eintracht Frankfurt
Was a constant threat against Hoffenheim in his left wing-back role, providing the assist for Frankfurt's only goal.

Striker: Paco Alcacer, Borussia Dortmund
Looked very sharp in Dortmund's 5-1 thrashing of Augsburg, netting twice and setting up a goal.

Striker: Robert Lewandowski, Bayern München
Rescued a point for Bayern as he scored a brace in their 2-2 draw with Hertha BSC.
