Official: Augsburg sign Leverkusen defender on loan

Tin Jedvaj has joined Augsburg on loan from Bayer Leverkusen.
FC Augsburg have brought in Tin Jedvaj on season-long loan deal from Bayer Leverkusen, the club have announced.

"In recent years, I have looked at FCA as a club where players can develop very well. The people responsible here have taken great care of me. Therefore, I have a very good feeling, and I'm looking forward to wearing the FCA jersey. I want to help us achieve our goals with the team," the versatile defender said in an interview on Augsburg's website.

The 23-year-old is the second defender to join Augsburg in just two days after 'Die Függerstädter' announced the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner on a one-year deal on Monday.

Jedvaj made 21 appearances for Leverkusen last season, scoring two goals.
