Lewandowski waxes lyrical about Coutinho: 'He's a top player'
Robert Lewandowski is extremely pleased with Philippe Coutinho's arrival at Bayern München.
Robert Lewandowski has welcomed Bayern München's signing of Philippe Coutinho on loan from FC Barcelona.
The Polish international believes the Brazilian international will add both depth and quality to Bayern's squad.
"He's a top player who can play at a number of positions. That gives us many options," Lewandowski said, according to Sky.
"He can play really well offensively, with good passes forward and creativity. I think he can really help us," he added.
Bayern have signed Coutinho on a seaso-long loan deal which includes a purchase option of €120 million.
