Schreuder: Skov needs to adjust to the Bundesliga

Robert Skov needs time to adjust to the pace of the Bundesliga, says Hoffenheim coach Alfred Schreuder.
Hoffenheim coach Alfred Schreuder says new signing Robert Skov needs time to adjust to the Bundesliga after moving to Germany from Danish champions FC Copenhagen this summer.

Schreuder was satisfied with Skov's league debut in Hoffenheim's 0-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, but also says he could see that the Danish international isn't used to the pace of the Bundesliga.

"With Robert, you could see that the pace in the Bundesliga is different than in Denmark. But I'm basically satisfied with his performance," Schreuder told Kicker and added:

"It was a pity that he didn't score. He had a big chance with his left foot. Normally, that's a clear goal for him."

Hoffenheim paid €10 million to sign the 23-year-old who scored 32 goals in 48 appearances for FC Copenhagen last season.
