Nagelsmann praises in-form Sabitzer

Julian Nagelsmann has praised Marcel Sabitzer after the midfielder's impressive start to the season.
RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann has lauded praise on Marcel Sabitzer, who has started out the season in impressive fashion, scoring three goals and making three assists in just two games.

"Marcel Sabitzer is not only very present at the weekend, but also during the week. The main reason why he's currently perceived differently is that he has become more involved in terms of scoring and setting up goals. He does that very well," Nagelsmann said at a press conference today.

Nagelsmann is generally pleased with the start to the season, having seen his team beat Osnabrück 3-2 in the DFB-Pokal and Union Berlin 4-0 in the Bundesliga in his first two games as RB Leipzig coach.

"It's great that we've won both our matches so far. We want to approach the upcoming matches confidently now and prove ourselves with good performances against strong opposition. The guys believe we can reach our goals," he said, as quoted by the club.

In their next game, Nagelsmann and RB Leipzig take on Eintracht Frankfurt at home on Sunday.
