VfL Wolfsburg's Felix Uduokhai has joined Augsburg on loan.
Augsburg have brought in Felix Uduokhai from VfL Wolfsburg on a season-long loan deal, which includes a purchase option, the club have announced.

After completing his move to WWK Arena, the 21-year-old said in an interview on Augsburg's website:

"I'm happy that the loan transfer worked out and that FCA offer me the opportunity to take the next step in my career here. After holding talks with the responsible people at Augsburg, I'm convinced that this is the right decision and that I can help the team to achieve their goals."

Augsburg boss Stefan Reuter said:

"We are delighted that Felix Uduokhai, another German youth international, has chosen FC Augsburg, because we are absolutely convinced of his qualities. The transfer shows that young players with potential to develop identify with our way of doing things."

The centre-back has played 37 games for Wolfsburg in the past, scoring three goals.
