Van Dijk praises Germany and Niklas Süle
Virgil van Dijk has lauded praise on the German national team and Niklas Süle.
Netherlands skipper Virgil van Dijk has expressed his respect for the German national team ahead of his country's Euro 2020 qualifier against 'Die Mannschaft' on Friday.
"The German team is playing at a top level. They have a good mix of experience and talent. But we will try to hurt the Germans," van Dijk told reporters at a press conference.
The strong centre-back also praised Bayern München's Niklas Süle whom he faced in the Champions League with Liverpool last season.
"He is a fantastic defender. He plays for Bayern München who I have already played against a number of times," van Dijk said.
Germany will clash with the Netherlands in Hamburg at 20.45 CEST on Friday.
