Jürgen Locadia, who recently joined Hoffenheim on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, claims the Bundesliga side have been a long-time admirer of him.

According to the 25-year-old, Hoffenheim were already looking at him years ago when he played for PSV Eindhoven.

"Four years ago, I already had the chance to go to TSG. But it wasn't the right moment to leave Eindhoven," Locadia reveals in an interview with Kicker.

This time around, though, 'Die Kraichgauer' succeeded in landing Locadia who is determined to get back to his best in Germany.

"I also had offers from other leagues, but Hoffenheim were currently the best option for me," Locadia said and added:

"I want to have more fun with football again. That's key for me and the way I play. It has to be fun."

Locadia made his debut for Hoffenheim when he came on as a substitute in their 0-0 draw with Bayer Leverkusen on Matchday 3.
