Benjamin Pavard: 'I'm improving every day'

Benjamin Pavard says training with the likes of Thiago Alcantara and Robert Lewandowski every day helps his development.
Benjamin Pavard is extremely pleased with his first few months as a Bayern München player.

Speaking to Sky, the 23-year-old says he can feel he's making progress every day after joining the Bavarians from VfB Stuttgart in the summer.

"Bayern are the best German club without question and possibly the best club in the world. At the moment, I enjoy every day. There is an oustanding level and intensity in training. Every detail is considered. If you take a bad touch, you get reprimanded immediately. It's about centimeters," Pavard said and added:

"I definitely feel that I'm improving every day. A few years ago, I couldn't have imagined that I would go on to play at this level so quickly. I had only seen my current teammates on TV back then. Now, I get to learn something with them in every training session.

"I already knew about the level here beforehand. But playing with Lewandowski or Thiago in training every day really brings me forward. Now I share my everyday life with some of the best players in the world," Pavard said.

Pavard has made five appearances for Bayern so far with one goal and one assist to his name.
