Bayern München coach Niko Kovac didn't want to reveal much about his line-up plans for Saturday's game against RB Leipzig at the pre-match press conference.
When asked if he plans to use Thomas Müller or Philippe Coutinho, who returns from international duty today, at the offensive midfield position, Kovac told reporters:
"We'll have to wait and see how Coutinho feels when he returns. It was important that he played two games with Brazil, but such a trip is very exhausting, of course. Thomas played very well in the last game. But I can't and don't want to tell you what our team will look like this weekend."
"Every player has to be able to give 100 percent. We need fresh and motivated players and will talk to the guys," Kovac further said about the players who have been out on international duty.
Kovac was also asked if he plans to use Joshua Kimmich at right-back or in midfield, but said he wants to keep that secret from RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann.
RB Leipzig and Bayern will lock horns at Red Bull Arena on Saturday at 18.30 CEST.
